Patio Makeover
We had our patio resurfaced and extended last week. We opted for stamped concrete. The pattern is called Ashlar Slate. The base color is sand and the release color is saddle brown. I'm not really sure what the highlight colors are. I just told them to pick what they thought would look good. We worked with WSC Outdoor Creations and Prater Concrete. We are extremely happy with the results. The weather has been beautiful and we've spent a lot of time outside already. Now we just need to get some potted plants to make it pretty.
Here's a picture of the patio before the makeover. You can see the large patch of dead grass. Since our patio is north facing, it's always in the shade and this type of grass has to have sunlight. We were really sick of wading through mud to get to the backyard.
dug out and formed
concrete poured, stamped, and colored

Emily, that looks totally awesome! I bet you will love not having to slosh through mud now! It looks really nice - I love it! :-)
