Cupcakes
What do you do when winter shows up early in Texas and you are stuck inside for several days with freezing rain? You make cupcakes!
And what color icing do Sam and Ben pick? Red and green … not sure they realize other colors exist any more.

Taking a Break
I turned in my badge today after 10 years with Avaya. Chris and I decided it was time for a change. I'm going to take a break (maybe a year?) learn some new technologies, spend some time with the boys, and do some volunteer work. Wish me luck!

Bake Sale
The lower and upper elementary classes at Sam's school had a bake sale this week to raise money for the SciTech Museum Planetarium visit. The kiddos baked in shifts for three days straight. I had the opportunity to volunteer to help for two days. They were so proud of their results!
Here is a picture of the portable planetarium in their gym. Sam was so excited about the stars and constellations he learned about!
