Last Random Pictures from June

There was a week between vacation and when the kids started summer school.  They went to Super-Hero Camp at USA Martial Arts every day from 9am - 1pm.  They got to dress as a different super-hero each day and the got completely worn out.  They had so much fun!

Sam built this "robot" out of Legos and wanted me to take a picture so he could submit it for entry in the Lego club magazine.

We got back from our trip Friday night and my birthday was Sunday.  We got a little ice cream cake to celebrate.

Vacation Day #23: Last Day

Our vacation is all done and it's time to say goodbye to Yiayia and Papou.  It's a long drive back to Texas, but we've made so many memories!  They boys say this is the best summer ever! (And they are already asking when we can go back to Mississippi!)

Vacation Day #22

The kids wanted to go to another "new" park this day.  I checked out the Ocean Springs Park and Rec web site and found this splashpark.

Sam loved it!!! And he was probably one of the biggest kids there.

Ben is not in love with the water this summer so he really didn't want to be there.

It took him a little while, but he eventually warmed up to the idea.

Back at home ... guess what happens when you don't stow your load?  Someone lost their fridge in Papou's front yard.

Vacation Day #21

We headed to the marina that morning to try to buy some shrimp, but they didn't have any.  The boys wanted to go to the park on the way home so we thought we'd go to a different one that overlooked the water.

I think the boys could have played forever.  It was a really nice park.

Vacation Day #20

Had brunch at Tacky Jack's on the marina before heading back to Mississippi.

We stopped at Caren's on the way.  The boys loved playing with their cousins.  Here they are piled on the couch trading Plants vs. Zombies tips and tricks.

Vacation Day #19: Orange Beach

One more day at the beach.  The boys were easy to spot in their bright orange rash guards.

The waves were a bit stronger that day so we put a life jacket on Sam.

Ben preferred digging in the sand.

We wanted a sweet treat so we headed to the fro-yo store.  

The boys loved the gummy sharks.

Ok, well maybe Ben didn't like it that much.

Vacation Day #18: Father's Day

We spent a relaxing Father's Day at the beach.  The boys spent some quality time with their iPads.

We finally got a chance to make a rib roast.  It was AMAZING!
