Another month is gone and Ben is now 10 months old. It's hard to believe that he's only two months away from being a year old. He's found new independence and entertainment in being able to pull up to standing now. We moved all of the toys upstairs because Ben was getting into everything downstairs, plus it's nice and carpeted upstairs.
Ben is big stuff playing trains next to big brother Sammy. Sam is not so thrilled because Ben pretty much just tears up the track. "No, Benny!"
Playing trains.
Ben is starting to get stable enough to stand for a few seconds on his own. He's shown no interest in using the walker. He has, however, forgotten once or twice that he can't actually walk yet, has taken a step and has fallen on his face.
Ben's little army crawl is turning into more of a traditional crawl on his knees. He still prefers the scoot though. He's just been doing it so long he doesn't have to think about it.
Ben got his top right front tooth last weekend. You can see the left one coming in so it should be any day now. He's been much happier, but still drooly.
It's been fun playing inside, and of course all of the toys are new again because they've been moved upstairs. I am so sick of the heat though. I think it's been 21 days in a row of triple digit temps.
Brothers.
Ben thinks he missing out on all of the night-time routine. He wants his teeth brushed and flossed too.
We got a baby sitter this week for Ben and took Sam to the movies. It was a real treat and something that we haven't been able to do for a while. We got fro-yo after the movie and Sam got to pick his own candy toppings - gummy bears go great with peanut butter, who knew?
Chris: How do you like that ice cream?
Sam: You need to get your own, Daddy.
