The boys had two days off of school mid-August between the Summer session and the start of the new school year. One of those days we went to the pool and made a pie when we got home.
Sam has always loved to cook and was very excited to try something new.
It's harder to cook with two helpers. You have to make sure that each one gets a turn doing each step and you have to make sure that they take turns going first. Well, at least that's what I had to do to try to stay sane.
Ben loved helping. Sam was no so thrilled with sharing. The pie was awesome and we finished it in two days. They had so much fun making the pie that we made it again for Pops when he came to visit the next week.
