Ben at 15 Months

Oh my, oh my! Ben's personality is coming out, and we love it!

We took him for his 15 month well visit and here are the stats ...

Weight: 22lb 1oz (16%)
Length: 30.75 (37%)
Head Cir: 18" (25"%)

He didn't get his vaccinations because he tested positive for the flu. Hopefully we'll get those later this week.

Most of our pictures of Ben are in the highchair (which he can say by the way). He never sits still. He runs all over the house and climbs anything he can. He keeps us pretty busy. He eats all day long, usually just enough to get going again.

Ben moved up to the next class at his Montessori school and he loves it. It's a small class and he gets lots of one-on-one time. He misses his teachers in the baby class, but he was getting bored with the babies. He's bringing home worksheets where he is starting to color, learn letters and shapes, and sponge paint. He was absolutely worn out the first two weeks in the new class and went straight to bed when he came home. Things are back to normal now and he's loving rough-housing with Sam before bed. He's FINALLY interested in books and will sit still long enough for us to read him a few. He points at the pictures and wants to know what things are called.

Ben is getting attached to his lovies aka buddies aka boys aka pets (depends on what mood Sam is in what they are called). His best buddy is Adrian Dog that Sam gave him for his birthday. He'll pick up AD and Doggy Bear and take DB straight to Sam. He gets a big kick out of both of them dragging their dogs around.

Ahhh! Immy-immies. We have an M&M addict on our hands. It started with the candy in the Christmas stocking. Ben points to the table and shows us exactly where he wants his pile. We have to make two separate piles or they fight over them.

What a fun, cozy place to hide and play.

Muffins and donuts ... breakfast of champions ... essential part of the toddler food pyramid.

We kept Ben at home the day of his well visit. He'd had a fever of 102 the day before and tested positive for flu, but he definitely did not act like he had the flu.

He ate all day long and didn't have any fever that day. He loves to share his food.

I turned my back on him for one minute and he pulled my cup of coffee off the table and onto the carpet. He loves the Spot Bot. I think he would spill stuff on purpose just so we would get it out. He kept asking for more, more, more.

Snacks and reading.

He loves these touch and feel books he got for Christmas.

More, more, more books.

This is Ben's absolute most favorite thing to do ... play on Sam's bed. It's even better when Sam is there to play with him.

He rolls around, stands up / falls down, hangs from the canopy frame, climbs the ladder, and flips off the bed.

And there he goes.
