Sam is three months old now and is celebrating his first Name Day today. Name Days, not birthdays, are celebrated in Greece. Each saint has a special feast day. A person's Name Day is the feast day of the saint after which they were named. While Greek-Americans may celebrate the birthday as well, many traditional Greeks stick to observing the Name Day, and the actual birthday passes without as much notice, though this is changing in the younger generations.
Sam is doing very well, but I've been concerned about his weight so I took him to a new doctor last week. He's dropped from the 25th percentile to the 8th. The doctor said she wasn't too concerned since he is ahead of the curve in development (e.g. how well he's holding up his head, standing up, putting his hands in his mouth, and rolling over). Since he's breastfed, we can't tell how much he gets at each feeding, so we've rented a baby scale so we can supplement with formula as needed. We're keeping a log and will go back to the doctor next Thursday. We may just have to switch to formula then.

Great pictures . Reminds me of when Chris was the same a
Don't worry too much about the weight loss. Maybe the milk is getting weak and probably a little formula added daily will do the trick.
Beautiful baby.
