Happy Birthday Ben

Ben's birthday fell on a Saturday this year and we had a nice little celebration at home.  He couldn't decide between an Iron Man cake or a Captain America cake, so we got an Avengers cake with lots of green.

I love the faces he made while we were singing Happy Birthday!

Going to the movies to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 with my sweeties for Benny's birthday!

Celebration of Life

I just loved it when we saw Ben coming down the hall with his birthday crown!  He was very excited for his special day.

The Earth moves around the Sun once for every year since Ben was born.

And he shows his friends pictures at every age.

Fall Festival

We went to the neighborhood Fall festival this year.  It was sort of rained out so most of the activities were in and around the clubhouse.  It was a bit crowded so we headed over to the playground.  The boys can make fun out of any situation for sure.

Orange Belt

Sam tested for his Orange belt today.  He was so proud of himself.

These pictures make me realize that, while the iPhone camera is very convenient, we really need to start using the DSLR for stuff like this.
